Next time I would decrease the sugar significantly (I think I’d use 1-2 T) and add soy sauce. I think that would add more complex flavor throughout the meat than just adding kosher salt at the end.

I had a hard time carmelizing the pork. I ended up adding more brown sugar. The coconut rice was a bit flavorless, IMO. But my husband loved it. I guess I like something a little saucier.

Emily – If you look at the ingredients section of the page, on the far right hand side is an option to “Scale” 1x/2x/3x. By clicking one of them the website will update the quantities. Hope that helps. I’m making this tonight for the first time, so I had to do a little sleuthing to find it. :-)
