Hi Ali,
My name is Jeanne Kremer (pronounced Jeannie KrAmer). I’m a grown woman who in my youth preferred tto party rather than to learn my dear mom’s awesome cooking skills. I’m your neighbor from across the state line in Shawnee, KS. I come here to your site every time I plan on chicken breasts for dinner and appreciate so much your step by step instructions. During this visit, I noticed you had eliminated your comment about there being some difference of opinion re oven temperature when it comes to baking the chicken. I thought it was really good because it made me realize I have a choice in how hot the temp & how long the chicken could be in the oven. So now I’ll bake at the temp you kept in your instructions. So yeah, I’m just being curious as to why you decided to remove that from your instructions. I found it just being terribly honest on your part and I appreciated being aware of disagreements regarding baking temperature. Anyway, just thought I’d ask. :) Either way, I still plan to come here every time I bake chicken breasts! A really great site and I will plan on exploring more of your recipes! As I mentioned, I’m not a great cook and my repertoire of what I DO cook is very limited. But I want to expand and learn! :) Thank you, Ali.

Brining should be done in ice cold water only. Temp should be 40 degrees Fahrenheit or less.

the explanation on brining and oven temp are superb. It’s what I was looking for, something simple and flavorful. It is the most moist chicken I’ve every prepared

I made your chicken tonight and it was absolutely delicious! I even threw in a couple of wings and just cooked them less time. The seasoning was delicious also. I have a meat thermometer and just checked the chicken pieces as they cooked. Thank you for a wonderful way to cook chicken!

I prepared this chicken recipe exactly as instructed and sliced it atop salads for a luncheon I catered today and it was a 100% hit! At least 4-5 folks from the group came to the back and looked me up in hopes to purchase plates to take home for their spouses. The chicken ruled in taste, tender and juicy! I’ll definitely use again possibly next time serve it on buttered noodles or rice. Thanx for the help!
