I am making these as part of welcome bags for a wedding. In order to get a little ahead, I plan to make the dough and freeze it. Do you suggest I do that and let it thaw to the point of being chilled before rolling into balls and baking, or roll them into balls, freeze them and bake them from frozen? I want them to come out as amazing as they usually do, when I just chill the dough and then bake!

This is by far my favirote and go to chocolate chip cookie recipe. I have been using it for years and figured it’s time to leave a review. They’re super moist and delicious. Everyone always requests these! I’ve tried other chocolate chip cookie recipes and always end up coming back to this one. Thank you so much for sharing.

The best chocolate chip recipe out there! I brown the butter ahead of time and chill it back to a soft solid before proceeding with the steps here – it adds a bit of depth to the dough, though this recipe is amazing without this step as well!
