These Kefir pancakes are delicious. Using Kefir lactose free instead of buttermilk is easier on my digestive system and it tastes just as good! Thank you for this recipe as this is my go-to pancakes now!

Now my only pancake recipe! I tried this because I had a quart of kefir to use. I always hated making pancakes , no matter what I did they seemed blah.

Not these. Do pay attention to the directions and make sure ingredients are fresh and you can’t go wrong.

I’m an American living in Italy and made these amazing pancakes for my Italian mother in law today. She kept asking me to make her pancakes and I was so nervous to cook for her. These were a HUGE hit! I even sprinkled blueberries on a few before flipping them over and they were delicious too. Thank you so much!

I made a half batch with a mixed berry kefir – it was a great “weekend breakfast” portion for two, the berry flavor came through surprisingly strong, and the pancakes (maybe by user error?) were slightly dense/chewy in a way that we liked. Definitely a recipe I’ll keep in my back pocket.

Well damn. These are simply the best and fluffiest pancakes I’ve ever made from scratch. That is not even debatable. My batch made exactly 12 pancakes (5-6″) just as the recipe stated. After the grilling the first four, I threw a little almond extract in the batter and even though I didn’t think they could level up….they did! Thanks for this wonderful and incredibly easy recipe!!!

In reply to Jane. We used Strawberry and I added a small amount of mini chocolate chips. My whole family said they were the best pancakes they’d ever had. I am going to try blueberry flavored with blueberries next time!
