I always add grated cheese to the dry ingredients before adding liguids.
I sometimes add pumpkin seeds or cranberries with some dried herbs to give it a little twist of flavour.
It turns out perfect every time.

I usually use a Sam Adams with cheddar, and rotate among, garlic, dill, rosemary, and chipotle. So mane flavor variations so you can please just about everyone. You can’t go wrong with this bread.

Used Kokanee beer. It is delicious”. Love that is so crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. Made it go with dinner, but it actually ended being dinner!!!

I have also made it in the past using de-alcoholized beer. For me, the bread turns out best using the sparkling water. However, I do also add a Tablespoon of baking powder. And I don’t use the butter. Thank you for the recipe.

I added cheese and rosemary and it was excellent. I did need to bake on 350 for 60 minutes. The honey was a game changer. Others I have tried added suger and were too sweet. The butter one the bottom and top gave it a great crust.
